Not every RC2014 PCB designed makes it into production.

Not every RC2014 PCB manufactured is made to the quality I would expect.

Not every RC2014 PCB goes through the system without picking up a bit of damage.

Not every RC2014 PCB with a compact flash connector fitted is as working or looking as neat as I would hope it would be.

What happens to these PCBs? Well, until now, they have gone into a tub labelled "DO NOT SELL". However, this tub has now got a lot of boards in it and I need to have a clear out. So I am offering a random bundle of 6 PCBs. These will comprise of at least 1 of each of the following classifications;

• B-Grade - Something went wrong in the manufacturing process so these PCBs don't look as good as they should. Typically it could be smudged or missing silk screen or a scratch to the solder resists that has been painted over. These boards have passed electrical tests at the factory, though, so they should work
• Prototype - These boards are typically ones that I had made test out a module design but they didn't make it into production for at least one more revision.
• Damaged - Some kind of damage, either at the factory or in transit, means that these boards may be faulty. This includes milling the board at the wrong place or scratches that have damaged one or more tracks. They probably won't work without a bit of TLC.
• Non-working - This is the result of one or more mistakes I made on the schematic. The board itself is manufactured fine but won't work because of something like a Pull-Up resistor going to ground not 5v. If you are happy with track cutting or mounting components where they shouldn't go, then you can get them working, but otherwise, just consider them as ornamental.

You will get 6 RANDOM boards, with at least one of each being a B-Grade, Prototype, Damaged, Non-Working. The first 5 orders will also get a PCB with a compact flash adapter that needs a bit of fettling. If it isn't obvious, I will give an indication of which type each board is, and you won't get duplicates. Obviously, there is no warranty or support, and you can't pick and choose which boards you get. However, this is a great chance to own a quirky souvenir!
