What is it?

This is v2.0 CPU board for the RC2014 and features the Enhanced Bus connector which can be used with the Backplane Pro.

Why did you make it?

This was made to test out some ideas with using a Z80 CPU on the RC2014 Enhanced Bus

Why is it listed in the Flea Market?

This is an interim design that works, however, there is a better version due in the first week of April. If you have a Backplane Pro and are desperate to plug a CPU module in to it, then grab one of these and go for it. It'll work just fine. However, be aware that the WAIT, BUSREQ and NMI signals will have to be pulled up on the backplane if the dual right-angle header is used. So, it is a little bit inconvenient as far as that goes. If this puts you off, then wait until April where that issue has been fixed.

There are only 13 of these boards available, and when they're gone, they're gone. That's why I'm selling them off cheap. The price includes a 40 pin socket, 3k3 resistor and 100nf capacitor. You will have to use the Z80 from your existing RC2014 CPU Module and the double right-angle connector that came with the Backplane Pro.
