Homing without end stops was no fun. The motors bumping into mechanical limits made screeching noises and the machine was subjected to excess mechanical stress.
The end stops are attached and removed without disassembling your 3018 Pro. You don't need to loosen any of the existing screws! Everything is screwed to 2020 or 4020 rails or snaps into place. Cables are arranged tidily.
