Read More…The Limited Edition COB LED 13 Segment Display is a retro inspired segmented display kit that uses all through hole components, and it's designed to work with a micro-controller via the I2C interface, so it only requires 4 wires!
You can chain up to 8 Segliment displays together and address each display individually and I even have an Arduino IDE project you can use as a starting point that can display the alphabet.
The COB LEDs are raised off the PCB using header pins and I have included a soldering jig to help you solder each of the filaments to the headers easily.
