I make lots of projects that use NeoPixel style LED strips in various lengths - who doesn't like bright, colourful flashing lights, right???

Now available as a KIT or PRE ASSEMBLED

I wanted a tiny board that would be as small and narrow as the strips to fit into small projects and though my first iterations were handmade versions on proto-board, I kept finding more and more use cases for them, so I decided to turn it into a product for myself and for others to use in their projects.

It's super small... just 26mm x 9mm and includes 5V DC power-in pins on the left and 5VDC + GPIO 0 out on the right to line up with a NeoPixel strip.

It also includes GPIO 3 broken out that can be used as an extra output or an input for something like a button or LDR or touch sensor etc. GPIO 3 is an Analogue or Digital pin.

Every order comes with an extra blank TinyDev PCB!

The board also includes holes for a 6 pin header ( male header included but not soldered on) for those that would like to program their TinyDev via an AVR programmer.

What's in the kit?

2x TinyDev PCBs (1 for build and 1 spare)
1x Tiny85 with fuses pre-checked
1x Momentary button
1x 10uF 0805 capacitor
1x 0.1uF 0805 capacitor
1x 10k 0603 resistor
1x 330ohm 0603 resistor
1x 2x3 pin header for AVR programming

This project is open source, so the PCB design files & Gerbers are all available below in my Unexpected Maker Github. If you'd like to get your own PCB's printed that's ok with me!

Wonderful purchase experience

Shipped to USA quickly. I bought two boards, assembled -- price for assembled is minuscule! Very clean build. The developer is crazy good with communication. Documentation consists of a small card, tho -- no "full up" datasheet, so some knowledge is assumed. Buy 'em up!

Shipping was fast and the board worked flawlessly

Shipping was very fast, it isn't usually that fast here in israel. The board itself works very well and is suitable for any project requiring small electronics for controling leds. The package included the board if self with an additional pcb
and some freebies. Over all im very satisfied with my purchase and i will buy again!
