WLED Wemos mini shield is designed to work with Wemos D1 mini and ESP32 mini boards to run affects on Addressable LEDs such as WS2812B, SK6812 and more. Works with WLED sound reactive firmware too!

Power board with 5V only!

All boards manually tested for all functions with LED strip.

On board:

Level shifter;
Fused LED power output;
Fused power for microcontroller board;
I2C interface is exposed for various sensors;
ON/OFF button on board;
Header for external relay 5VDC;
OLED display 128X32 (optional);
Header for plug-in microphone (optional);
Version with 3.5mm audio plug;

Compatibility:

It works with very popular WLED firmware and sound reactive version too.
Can be used for many different projects that use ESP8266 or ESP32 mini boards. The limit is your imagination.

Perfect

Didn't want to order the often-cited diguno from overseas. Liked the microphone setup, easy to use, fast shipping. I have purchased several shields from this seller, and will continue to.

Great board!

I bought 2 these, one to drive my AmbiLighting with WLED and a remote instance of HyperHDR (Hyperion fork). It works great. I also printed the case for it so it looks great too. I am not sure if there is documentation for the pinouts (mapping ESP-8266 GPIO to the markings on the board) but I can't find it, and that would be helpful. I reached out to the maker and will update my review when I hear back. At any rate, I highly recommend this for any WLED project.

Update: I got a response from the maker. DI is GPIO2 and CLK is GPIO17.

Great product that does what it says it will!

Used this product for decorative indoor Christmas lights for family members. Product arrived just as described and works perfectly. The only thing that would be helpful is a little better documentation for the mini-shield version that tells you which pin is which, I eventually figured out which pin the clock output was connected to on the ESP32 but a simple document like the full shield would have been much nicer. OVerall, I will purchasses this product again if I need to create another string of lights!

Easy setup and great design!

The board design and quality are extremely well done! Just looking at the board and assembly assured me that I would be highly unlikely to encounter any issues with bad soldering or flaky connections. The github page provides all the information anyone would really need to getting this plugged in and ready to go in minutes. Would definitely buy from again.
Also, the link to the 3d printed case was a perfect fit! Cleaned up my install nice and neat, which was a welcomed bonus. Would love to have the grabcad files available for the mini, similar to ones provided for the full size shield. Great work on this shield!

AWESOME PRODUCT AND SELLER

Man, this WLED Wemos Mini Shield was exactly what I was looking for in my WLED project.

Sergey was also a huge help in getting it up and running, with fast and excellent communication.

I would totally recommend this seller and item to anyone who is looking for a WLED ESP Hat.

The shield was stupid easy to use and get set up, is a solidly engineered product and just friggin works.

I am using this shield in conjunction with TwilightLord's ESP32 and a WS2812B strip on the back of my TV running Hyperion Android Grabber + Hyperion-NG and it's FANTASTIC.

A truly awesome device for all who love leds and sound.

Stumbled across this product while i was trying to build my own using a esp8266. Seeing this had all the features i needed for a great price i bought it. The extra features oled is a great addon, showing you usefull information about the device. I cant wait to order more 😁
