The RGB pack includes the MOTHERBOARD and RGB MATRIX. With these 2 boards, you can display simple animations or a light alarm. The MOTHERBOARD has a built-in real-time clock module that keeps time even when unplugged. The RGB MATRIX has a 4×4 display of Red, Green and Blue LEDs. You can experiment with code to display different patterns and you can even mix colours using Pulse Width Modulation (PWM). You get to program the MOTHERBOARD, so you decide how your device functions.

You can stack these two boards together with the provided stand-offs. You could add a diffusion plate to the stack with extra stand-offs and screws if you want a diffused lighting effect. Each kit comes with a 40+ page pdf manual.
