I'm Joe, the founder of Sideline Data! A few years ago I had a serious problem that I needed to solve...figuring out how much beer was left in my kegerator. After looking at cumbersome, expensive, commercial solutions I decided to tackle this problem myself with a unique solution in mind. What started out as a silly project turned into a huge development effort and a lot of fun for not just myself, but friends and family as well! That's when KegWatch was born. As I continued working on KegWatch, I started tinkering with other custom solutions for problems I faced at home and that's when I realized I might be able to actually sell some of this stuff!

The things that I build and post on this site all came from a personal need. Maybe a solution didn't exist before, or it was too expensive, or I just thought I could do it better...either way, I am 100% invested in everything that I create because it has to work for me before I can even think about letting someone else use it. I take pride in crafting solutions that are as smart as they are fun.
