What is it?

This tool is for those who work or experiment with Electric vehicle charging stations (EVSE).

It's a no frills tool with a single button that

a) Activates the charging station (Mode B and C).

b) Displays advertised amperage from the station.

The display updates in real-time, so it works perfectly to test dynamic load balancing systems.

The tool comes with "banana sockets" so you can use it with standard test leads and probes, for use in the field and in the lab. For repeated field use I would recommend getting a dedicated test cable with suitable evse connector in one end.

Power is supplied by a standard alkaline 9V battery (not included).

Why did you make it?

The existing tools on the marked is either targets the professional marked (= expensive), lacks Pilot analyzer or is more of a diy kit.

I try to bridge the gap with this product.

The product is CE approved as well as RoHS compliant.
