What is it?

The SEGA MegaSwitch by Stanislav Parhomovich harnesses the power of the Original Hardware through an FPGA scaler, upgrading the video output to a 1080p format. With an integrated DAC, audio can be adjusted with the Genesis slider. The image is sharp and crisp, and the OSD Menu has a host of valuable options that make using this device a delight.
Bundle includes SEGA MegaSwitch with compatible PSU and original 2-Button controller. Open Everdrive is not included.

Why did you make it?

I was interested in supporting the developer, Stanislav Parhomovich as it was a new project with little backing at the time of release. The MegaSwitch HD has had good success with only excellent reviews. I've had a few issues during the install, and Stanislav went the extra mile to sort out small issues, such as custom firmware for an NTSC Console.
As it was designed for a PAL Console, removing the back input panel and adding a 3D printed custom input board was needed to have the new HDMI outputs fit properly.

What makes it special?

Apart from the obvious, the Menu offers Scanline generations, and video line multipliers that can customize your ideal visual appeal. Stanislav recommended 5x mode, which I have been astounded with. This is not a sharp pixelated Mod, the results can be customized to a smooth experience.
