Pre-Loaded with Open source firmware. Specifically designed and configured for use with the SIO Control Plugin for OctoPrint. This controller is based on a ESP32-WROOM-32E module. It is ideal for adding IO to your OctoPrint instance. There are 16 configured IO points for use from OctoPrint; 4 Relays Out,1 Status LED Out, 4 designated Inputs and 7 configurable (default to INPUT_PULLUP) points. It's got plenty of IO for your project. There are a few other versions of this board available as well.

With a SerialIO board, you can take remote control of things like the Power supply, lights, and just about anything you might want to turn on and off. Also you can monitor inputs like a filament runout sensor or local physical buttons. It has built in support for a physical E-Stop if you want that extra safety right at your printer.

If you are an arduino enthusiast you can access and modify the firmware to add special features just for your setup. Or ask us to do that if you don't know how.

This board comes with Firmware preloaded to use with the SIOControl OctoPrint Plugin.
