It includes high-quality PreciDip headers for the patchwires. You can use standard square breadboard wires, but if you can get your hands on nicer Tangible Waves-style round patchwires definitely use those. The Roundabout interfaces nicely with the Tangible Waves AE Modular system. I put together these kits for the AE Modular community. These are the last few, available to whoever else is interested.
Tech details:
I can provide very limited help with construction and use. There is extensive documentation online, and that is where you should start.
One warning is that there are several shapes and sizes of pin headers-- make sure you know where they all should go and that they will fit properly before you start soldering them in because they are VERY difficult to desolder and move once soldered in, even if you have a good-quality solder pump. Test-fit everything.
