The Spirulerie board is an ESP32 based board for controlling 12V (or 24V) devices such as LED lights, heaters, pumps, peltier modules, valves, fans, electro-magnets etc. In addition to its 4x 12V driving channels it also has GROVE ports for easy add-ons and GPIOs for makers. It also has a OneWire port with a supplied DS18B20 temperature sensor but other sensors can be plugged-in.
It is supplied with a Spirulerie interface (1.8" color screen with 3 buttons) with a JST-XH cable
Thanks to its ESP32 chip the board is WiFi and Bluetooth compatible.
Why did you make it?
I made the Spirulerie board for creating a micro-algae bioreactor (a very special aquarium). But during the design I realized that the problems I wanted to solve (driving 12V devices on multiple PWM channels) were not unique to my aquarium but and I could design a more generic board to create any 12/24V appliance !
