With fine powder you can make layers of 0.1 mm instead of 0.25 mm. The combination of a fast spinning roller and fine powder does not work well. In this set is a motor with reduction gearbox to make a slower roller. Details on how to build the powder assemblies are on instructables (Step 3 and Step 4). Buying this set with the ColorPod makes it a lot easier to build a working full color printer that uses fine powder.
