Open NSynth Super is an experimental physical interface for NSynth, a machine learning algorithm developed by Google Brain’s Magenta team to generate new, unique sounds that exist between different sounds. Open NSynth Super allows you to create and explore new sounds that it generates through a simple to use hardware interface that integrates easily into any musician’s production rig. Quick shipping, good quality

Initially the board was shipped with wrong voltage regulators.
I received a mail and later a new replacement board.

The board is made really well and all the documentation can be found on github.
You should check for the extra parts first.
The encoders for example where only available on mouser/digikey/farnell.

Time saver

This board did the trick. I'm not great at soldering so having the smaller components already assembled was a great help. The one issue to be aware of is a software issue and not hardware related:

Other than that, don't forget to solder the jumpers on the oled.

Great board, just one hiccup to be aware of

First I have to say that I thought the board looked great. Which meant something to me because I went with a translucent case. The seller was also very prompt and helpful when replying to my questions. For the price and to have the surface mounted parts already attached, this made it a good value to me. The only thing to be aware of is knowing that if you use this board, you will most likely need the fix documented at https://github.com/googlecreativelab/open-nsynth-super/issues/32 It's easy to apply, so I would still recommend this board if it ever comes in stock again.

Great board

Got my board and just finished assembling it. I'm really happy about the build quality and the overall aspect of the board, stunning material and robustness, and last but not least it works perfectly.
Shipping took a bit longer than expected, coming from Hong Kong, but the seller quickly answered me and was really helpful.

Garbage

After placing an order for an item that was in stock I assumed that it was in stock. I ordered all the parts needed to build the synth. They all came before it. I was told by the owner of this account that I was second to be shipped out for this item later that week. He had stated that he had not received shipment from his supplier. 2 weeks passed leaving it a total of 3 weeks. I recieved notification that the item was coming from New York to Canada. I received the package from Hong Kong.

I confronted the owner earlier in the week and he basically told me that I can cancel my order or wait for it. That was my choice.

The board is crap. I have no power going to the OLED display I had bought. There is no power when testing the board. The display works fine.
Also running power to the device I get a hum in the headphone signal. I am using the raspberry Pi adaptor and it shouldn't do that because the plug is magneticly shielded.
