What is it?

Mini UPS Board for Modem /Wifi Router 12V current 2A. This is PCB board only, with input & Output quick connect connectors. You have to buy three 18650 batteries, Battery holder & Mini UPS enclosure separately to make complete mini UPS. Battery Holder (HMUPS-12V2A) & enclosure (EMUPS-12V2A) are available on Tindie as separate product. Product Dimension : LxWxH 5x5x1 (in cm) Weight : less than 100 gram.

Why did you make it?

due increase of online meeting due COVID 19 it become essential that it is not interrupted due power failure.

What makes it special?

simplistic cost effective and design with adequate safety measure like overcharge protection, cell balancing protection, battery deep discharge protection. It comes with quick input/output connectors to connect it with battery holder and mini UPS enclosure connectors. You can just connect it and assemble UPS within minutes and ready to use with your batteries and with input output as illustrated in Product Pictures. It also has secondary output to connect secondary device (Router+ modem) provided adequate capacity and discharge rate battery is used to go beyond 2A discharge rate and heat sink is used on MOSFET to protect from overheating.
