Tube preamplifier has two amplification stages: - first stage: - 2 triodes connected in parallel - based on ECC82 - second stage: - SRPP or CCDA stage (selection by switch) - based on ECC88.

Preamplifier built with proper grounding. It has a proven and refined power supply. Advanced PSU provide stable operation and no hum.

The sound is very dynamic and at the same time smooth and analogue with better controlled bass than in classic tube topologies. A project with a great potential for modifications - it is worth investing in what we can afford tubes and capacitors :)

It is very versatile audio equipment. As an ECC82, you can also use an ECC81 or a long-lived E80CC tube. These tubes do not cost a fortune yet :) with E80CC measured distortions are even lower than for ECC82. The heater PSU has adequate perfomance. As an ECC88, you can also use an 6N1P tube.
