Maia is a development board for the ESP32-S2 chip from Espressif. Provides both USB interfaces: native and UART bridge. Allows to control power via simple GPIO pins. Battery can be attached and charged from both USB ports. IO pins can be used on a bread-board. JTAG port is available for native debugging. "Playground" zone to integrate sensors. RGB led can be used to provide status and can be driven via PWM.

Components:

• CPU: ESP32-S2 Espressif microcontroller: single core LX7 running at 240 MHz along with a RISC-V ultra low power CPU. 320KB Ram, 4MB flash
• Ports: 2 x USB ports (1 x MicroUSB + 1 x USB-C): UART bridge to use all available ESP32 tools and native USB OTG port. Both can be used as power input
• User button: Programmable user button that is also used to powers up the board when switched off
• Battery Charger Circuit: Integrated Lithium battery charger IC: charging status can be read via GPIO, Charging Led can be switched off via GPIO.

Enclosure and battery: kit available separately.

• 1 microUSB connector to access native US
• 1 USB-C connector to access virtual UART
• 1 connector 2.54mm through hole, 6 ways for JTAG port
• 1 connector 2.54mm through hole, 24 ways expansion port
• 1 connector through hole to connect 3.7V battery (battery not included)
• 1 playground through hole for user applications
