What is it?

This gadget has a microphone that records sound, and on the fly will change its frequency spectrum, before outputting it to the LINE-OUT.

What makes it special?

You can plug this device into the LINE-IN of your PC, and when you stream or record videos, it will make you sound like a bad ass.

The optional case has a battery holder for 2x AA.

Without a case, you can power this via Micro USB.

How do you use it?

You can plug in headphones, or plug the device into the LINE-IN of your PC. Do not use the microphone input: the levels are too high for mic input.

Then press the power button to start using it.

It has no auto power off... don't forget to switch it off, if you run it from batteries.

Do not power it simultaneously with battery and USB: pick one!

How does it work?

This device has some very clever programming. It uses an ESP32 μcontroller with two compute cores to do a Fourier transform into the frequency domain. It then manipulates the frequencies. After that, it is converted to the time domain again using an inverse Fourier transform.

All done in real time, without missing a beat, thanks to some clever coding by the author.
