ESP32 Devkitc and TMC2130 steppper drivers not included.
There weren't many ESP32 based plotter controller boards readily available so I designed this one to use with my own drawing machines along with Bart Drings Grbl-Esp32 and FluidNC firmware. I've created a machine config file for this board to use with Grbl-Esp32 (see source code link and have a look at the wiki on the upstream repository for details of how to compile and setup the firmware for your machine). As well as a config.yaml for FluidNC.
It has been used successfully (in combination with Grbl-Esp32 and FluidNC) with a Core-XY (or is that a H-bot?!?) a Cartesian plotter with both servo and solenoid based pen lifts. And a v-plotter (wallbot).
I've tried to add connectors for all the use cases I think I might need like Neo Pixels, Vin aux and 5v aux connectors. The pen lift output can be switched with a jumper to supply 5v for a servo or Vin for a solenoid driver board.
It was designed to work with TMC2130 stepper drivers in I2C mode (others may work, but I haven't tested that).
There is a ~1.5A 5v switched mode PSU on board supplying the ESP32 and the 5v connectors. Supply voltage should be 12v but should be ok with 18v (not tested, but chip is rated for 40v supply and caps are 25v rated). Note the Vin Aux connector is directly connected to the input voltage.
It has a MicroSD card socket which works well with Grbl_Esp32 and FluidNC. Gcode files can be uploaded to the SD card via wifi and jobs started from the WebUI which is nice.
