If you’ve never seen or touched a microchip, our Continuity Tester kit is a great place to get acquainted. We designed a beautiful circuit around the 555 timer which has been used for decades in lots of everyday devices. The microchip is just big enough to handle and not small enough to lose!

Swizzle Circuits designed the circuit board with the 555 timer right in the middle not only for easy placement, but to show it off. Once completed, the Continuity Tester can be used for lots of scientific experiments as well as a tool for testing more advanced circuitry. Our kit is powered by a standard 9V battery, and is harmless to touch at all points.
