What is TARIG-Lite?

TARIG-Lite is a compact digital mode interface that allows you to easily connect your radio transceiver to a computer or tablet. It supports almost all digital modes such as PSK31, RTTY, FT-4, FT-8, JT-9, and JT-65. Simply connect one end of the TARIG-Lite to your computer or tablet's USB port, and the other end to the microphone/speaker or digital mode port of your transceiver. Thanks to the built-in audio isolation transformers and filters, it effectively eliminates ground loops and RF interference, ensuring a safe and clear connection between your device and the computer.

Why did I made it?

TARIG-Lite began in 2024 as a personal project. At the time, the digital mode interfaces I had used were either too expensive or didn’t fully meet my needs, so I decided to build my own. After using it with a few friends and sharing some photos in WhatsApp and Facebook groups, I started receiving a lot of interest and inquiries. That’s when I began considering offering it commercially. With the income I earned, I continued improving the design. Over time, it evolved into a smaller, more efficient, and more capable product.

What makes TARIG-Lite so special?

This is a highly compact interface board, specially designed for amateur radio use. It provides full isolation between the radio and the computer, preventing ground loop issues and interference. All input and output lines are optimized specifically for amateur radio applications. It comes with the necessary cables and is compatible with a wide range of transceivers. Its lightweight and portable design makes it ideal for field use. With plug & play functionality, it requires no drivers and is ready to use instantly.
