What is it?

Full H Bridge board with IBT-2 to provide up to 5 Amps track power to model railroads. Max. track voltage is 28V Can be easily controlled using the DCC EX system and be used instead of a standard Arduino motorshield with much less output current. Current measuring and short circuit protection is provided by DCC EX. Power supply and track output features connectors for easily disconnecting the track and power supply from the board.

Why did you make it?

Most model railroaders are looking for about 5 Amps. of track current. Standard Arduino motorshields are limited to 2 Amps. This Powershield allows for supplying most model rain layouts with sufficient DCC power
