What is it?

Reverse PoE adapter with 8 independent inputs, receive PoE power supply of 48vdc plus data (coming from 8 clients), it has 8 outputs that deliver these customer data and has 2 outputs with voltage converted from these 48 volts on 12 volts available on P4 plugs for SWITCH and ONU power supply.

8 conventional LAN ports to connect to an external SWITCH (not supplied). It has a DC / DC converter switch, with 2 sticks and P4 + 12 VDC connectors (for one 8 port SWITCH and one ONU). Ideal for mixed systems (Fiber + LAN) of low cost and high reliability.

Why did you make it?

This system is recommended to distribute the Fiber signal to up to 3 points (1 main ONU + SWITCH) and 2 taps (SWITCH) for safety reasons, since in the case of severe electric shock damages are limited to this section of the LAN cable network, since the Fiber does not spread the voltage surge to the rest of the system because it does not conduct electricity.
