What is it?

It's a wire wrap tool, designed to allow you to connect wires and components together. I use it to connect any 30AWG wire wrap between LED's and Conwy boards.

All the youtubers I've collaborated with LOVE using a wire wrap tool, as they can avoid even switching their soldering irons on!

Please note, wire wrap mainly works with pins that are square, rather than circular. e.g. the legs on pin headers, LED's are all square, but typically those found on resistors tend to be more circular in shape. For those, I still wire wrap, but then I add a blob of solder to help the wire take hold.

Either way, with this tool, the need for precision soldering is non existent. Note, you'll need to buy 30AWG wire. Amazon is your friend here - but I will also stock some in the coming weeks.
