Because I want to get all parameters of my oil heating control system and want to set some of its parameters.
What makes it special?
Cheap and easy integration through the expansion connector of the Buderus Logamatic 2107. The original module from Buderus is not produced anymore and it's price tag is $100 (more than twice of my replacement), but it only has an RS232 connector and you still need some electronics to lift it into your smart home network. My module does all this with a single shot.

There is no difference for 0.0.7 and 0.0.8 regarding the PCB itself. Only assembly was adjusted slightly.
