Overview

The Ferdinand 10.2.0 is the latest of our ultralight stratospheric probe development. It is a 5.6 gram probe payload which can be carried by a burster or floater balloon. It is especially optimized for long duration flights.

Usage

1. The probe comes preloaded with the flight firmware and is registered to the LoRaWAN communication network. All you need to do is remove the red "remove before flight" jumper which will immediately put the probe into flight mode. You can also test the probe in advance and then place the jumper to deactivate it.

2. If you wish to develop your own firmware, you can do so using our provided drivers (coming soon) and Integrated Probe Debugger.

3. If you find a problem with the hardware before launch, you can contact us and send us the 4 byte identification number found on the back of the probe PCB, as well as on a sticker on the bottom of the solar panel.

4. The probes are intended to be launched on foil floater balloons using Helium as the filling gas. More instructions about the launch process coming soon.
