What is it?

Display and prototyping PCB for the Particle Photon. It allows for the cheap and readily available 2.8" Touch TFT 240x320 SPI displays to interface to a Particle Photon.

Basic kit contains.

1x PCB.
2x 12-way headers to mount the Photon
1x 14 way & 4-way header for the Display

Optional Extras:

2.8" TFT Display

Why did you make it?

The 2.8" displays are cheap and readily available from eBay and other sellers from China, this PCB allows one to be easily connected to the Photon to give it a nice and simple display.

What makes it special?

Suitable for the Particle Photon
Large breakout area under the display.
Connects display, touch controller and SD card.
Compatible with Particle Asset shield. Add pin headers to outer holes on the PCB and plug on top of the asset shield.
4x mounting holes for the display and case. 1x additional mounting hole under Photon.
Open Source. All the design files are available on the ThingySticks website and Github ThingySticks organisation. That includes the Eagle files and OpenSCAD 3D designs.
Measures 130mm x 50mm

Please note that this does NOT include a Photon and the display is an optional extra.
