What is it?

This is a vertical docking ATC tool station compatible with the ISO30-ER32 tool holders sold by CNC Depot. It is designed to attach to 40 series 8020 or any other 40mm aluminum extrusion with M6 hardware.

What is different about it?

Vertical docking stations allow you to fit more tools into smaller spaces. They also allow for tools to be changed without moving or removing most dust boots that are attached to the spindle nose.

What makes it special?

There is a compression mechanism built in that allows for some variation in tool holder height as well as the ejection/pickup distance when the spindle picks up the tool. These tool stations have been tested to 10,000 changes with no appreciable wear. They should still be considered a consumable as traditional fork style tool stations are.

Overall dimensions are 101mm x 79.5mm x 60mm or about 4" x 3-3/16" x 2-3/8". Maximum tool diameter is the same as the max ER32 standard collet size (21mm or .827").

Instructions for assembly are included. Hardware for attaching to aluminum extrusion is not included.
