Read More…This is a kit to setup a key holder with a raspberry pi 3 A+ that acts as a backup server.
At night, when you hang up your keys, plug in your USB drive. The LCD display will turn on and display Ready when the device is ready for backups to be run.
Computers or phones that have been setup to backup to it can then run their backups overnight.
In the morning, when you go to get your keys, press either button to wake up the device. The LCD screen will then show Safe to remove. Unplug the USB drive and take your keys.
Instructions to assemble the kit can be found on our github project page.
