Read More…This expansion port device converts the RGB and video signals available on the TS 2068 expansion port to composite video and 9-pin mini-DIN, suitable for use with a Sega Genesis to HDMI converter.
Despite the silkscreen on the PCB, this does not convert to S-VIDEO. The S-VIDEO connector was replaced with the mini-DIN connector.
The three photos show the raw 2068 video, composite out from this board and video via the Sega Genesis converter.
If you've tried to use the TS 2068 monitor signal, you'll know exactly why I made this: the signal is unusable.
It solves the problem in a compact circuit board. It'll drive both signals independently.
