What is it?

This board adapts a headphone jack to the 3.5mm phoenix adapters used for audio input and output on a variety of Extron devices.

Why did you make it?

This is adapted from the RCA jack version originally designed by dbelectronics. Thanks to him making it open source, this was very easy to expand upon.

What makes it special?

Never strip wires again! Available in input and output form (these are different designs). Make sure to pick up a phoenix adapter if you need one.

PSA: Some Extron units have what are actually 10 pin connections on the back, meaning there is no space between the connectors. The Extron branded phoenix plugs fit fine, but all others will need to be sanded/cut to fit. If you are OK with removing some of the material from the side of the connector, the ones I have will work fine. If not, I suggest buying Extron branded connectors or buying 10 pin connectors i.e. from Molex.
