What is it?

This is to remotely wake up your Mac (iMac, Mac Mini, Mac Studio, Mac Pro, or Hackintosh) and remotely access it from another Mac. It supports macOS only.

There is a $2 monthly fee. If you do not use this product any more, delete it in our website www.usb7.net.

Why did you make it?

I travel a lot. I personally have the requirement to remotely wake up my Mac at home and remotely access it.

I have the technology ready to make it to work.

What makes it special?

This is the only product in the market which supports waking up a Mac remotely the similar way as waking up a Mac locally using a USB keyboard.

There is no need to install any software both locally and at remote Mac. It uses Apple-made macOS built-in Screen Sharing application, and Apple guarantees the software security.

It supports audio which enables us to remotely edit video/audio at a remote and powerful Mac. The technology behind it is that our device is composite device with 3 functions which are USB audio, USB Ethernet and USB keyboard.

Can drap and drop files to and from remote Mac and can share clipboard with remote Mac, because it uses macOS built-in Screen Sharing application.

macOS is an OS supporting multiple users. Apple-made Screen Sharing application is fully integrated into macOS, this means that multiple users can remotely wake up a remote Mac (e.g. Mac Pro) and log into remote Mac using separate user / password, as long as remote Mac has the physical resources (i.e. CPU cycles and RAM) to service multiple users. This way, one can share the power of his Mac Pro with his friends, everyone can use separate user to login a remote Mac Pro the same way as in the physical Local Area Network. Apple guarantees the software security. Our web UI allows the owner of the device to share the access of his Mac (via our Firefly device) with his friends.
