Description

This module consists of 3 ramp oscillators, each with different range of frequencies, mixed together and processed by a diode distortion stage with dry/wet control.

The oscillators are made with NPN reverse biased transistors, as shown in this video of Look Mum No Computer.

I added the mixing circuit, the distortion stage and made frequency ranges slightly overlapped, making this module capable to create very wide and powerful chord-like sounds.

Simple but very powerful module

This eurorack module is simple but very powerful. It can be the right project to start learning how to build a DIY modular synth. The module provides three saw tooth oscillators that can be controlled in frequency using knobs. Moreover it provides a fourth knob to change the amount of distortion. This is very suitable to start creating drone music!!!
