Two simple modules (one for each light) for retrofitting daytime driving lights into the HIGH beam lights. The modules must be installed into the headlights.

The module is switch on by applying +12V on input, this will enable the DRL function with fade-in.

Temporary off function is implemented, applying +12V on the corresponding pin will disable DRL, after disconnecting this signal and five seconds delay the DRL function is again enabled if disable signal is not applied again (turn signal). This long delay is implemented to cover almost all turn signal intervals on any car when you like to have your DRLs to be disabled while your turn signal is turned on.

You can use more than one source for disabling DRL. For example, low beams and turn signal, in this case, you need to connect these sources using the diode for insulating one source from another.
