Read More…Hw implementation of pre-amlifier from vwcdpic project originally designed for boosting audio signal. This is only my HW implementation, as this is my hobby: doing it as small as it can be, and still be able to make it at home(except PCB). Used components are: 0805 SMD resistors, so8 opamp (tl072, nee5532 compatible, also lot of others, can be swapped), electrolytic caps as input/output caps, tantalum caps on power line, plus choke for noise suppression.
originally, I designated vwcdpic with this amp on single board, but ground loops always catch you... so I split board and do more optimization, to make it as small as possible and this also made ground connection for preamp separate from vwcdpic.
I personally use this in my car, as always, I do not made this for profit, simply, I ordered something for me, and have few boards as spare.
There are 3 options from which you can chose: - only PCB ($1) - kit (PCB + components) ($7) - fully assembled module ($11)
