This badge is a fully coin-cell operated wearable brooch powered by a low-powered MCU from Microchip/Atmel. Thanks to the mature architecture & experience of Microchip/Atmel in designing a power-sipping ATtiny MCU, the product could run for hours with just a normal CR2032 cell. 🔋
The cherry on top of the cake is the availability of a full Arduino Core support maintained by the infamous Spence Konde (aka Dr. Azzy). Coupling with the availability of a complete C/C++ compiler toolchain (AVR core), this wearable brooch can be customized & easily reprogrammable by users familiar with the infamous Arduino IDE.
This product is created for those who is interested in learning or curious about how to code & want to further explore the wonderful world of embedded electronics beyond the Arduino® Uno board.
This badge is programmable, meaning you can modify the lighting and even compose your own melody/song! 🎵 All you need is just the programming dongle (which is included). If you need extra help with the programming, you can also leave us a message.
Growing up in Asia's multi-racial melting pot Malaysia, with a rich heritage coming from different influences over time. We are truly blessed to have experienced such a beautiful & unique multicultural upbringing.
The preloaded demo program consists of 7 Malaysian Eid songs & folk music. This is our interpretation of the "sounds" of growing up in Malaysia & the atmosphere felt during the Eid seasons 🌙; Each tune has a significant nostalgic meaning to us. e.g. "Burung Kakak Tua " might sound obscure to most, but this happens to be the first Malay nursery rhyme most of us (Malay and non-Malay) has learned.
