It's gonna be clamp this, clamp that. Bada-climp, bada-clamp!

What is it?

This is a Clamps (from Futurama's Robot Mafia) LED Simple Add-On (for electronic conference badges).

The kit has a v1.69bis standard connector (6-pin), but can also be used with the previous 4-pin standard.

Why did you make it?

I've been wanting to make a Simple Add-On for a while now so I decided to convert my most popular pin badge design - this time with more LEDs!

What makes it special?

I think the ENIG (gold) finish and exposed FR4 really lend themselves to the colour of the character. The reverse-mounted LEDs shining through the eyes and mouth look very robot-ey!

What's left to say?

Size is approximately 3cm x 5cm (1.2inch x 2inch).

The SMD LEDs might be a little tricky for first-time solderers, so I'm also offering fully assembled badges :)
