This load switch lets you turn on or off devices that use XT60 connectors. It is similar to my previous high side switch but it connects/disconnects the high side instead of the low side. It takes between 7.5 and 18 volts input (appropriate for 3S or 4S lithium batteries) and can be controlled by a low-current 3.3v or 5v input, for example from a microcontroller. The input is isolated from the rest of the circuit, so you don't have to worry about what voltage your microcontroller is at relative to the circuit you want to switch. When off, current is blocked in both directions so you can use this for charging or discharging.

Notes

• If using an inductive load, be sure to include a flyback diode to protect the switch from high voltage spikes that could damage it.
• The device powers itself from whichever port has a higher voltage.
• The positive and negative control pins are marked on the PCB.
• Switch is normally open (i.e. disconnected); apply current to the control pins to close it.
• Sold fully assembled as shown in the pictures.
