The Cricket ONE is an Arduino-compatible ATMEGA328PB board using the MiniCore Arduino core. The board is mechanically compatible with the Raspberry Pi Zero, and is able to use a large number of RPi accessory boards.
The board uses the ATMEGA328PB, which has 4 more I/O than the ATMEGA328P, an extra UART, SPI, and timers.
The board is delivered assembled as pictured, add your own 40-pin header and have fun!

Additional/Alternate i/o of the ATmega328PB
The ATmega328PB has additional i/o pins but more importantly has alternate/extra UART, SPI, and I2C (amongst other differences). The Arduino Minicore makes these extra i/o easily usable in sketches. Pololu makes a 328PB mini board but the Single Board Solutions' board has a USB/FTDI onboard. The RPi headers provide easy i/o connectivity even if you're not using a Pi.
