This board has fully open sourced design: Licensed under CERN OHL v.1.1 or above! PIC32MX has MIPS instruction set (32-bit!) and could be programmable in C programming language (you need MPLAB X free tool in order to program it). May work on 80 MHz (but 40 MHz is recommended for DIP packages). Internal or external crystal. Programmable by PICKit2 or PICKit3.
BOM - BILL OF MATERIALS:
IC1: PIC32MX110F016B or PIC32MX170F256B

LED1: 5-mm Red LED
C1,C2: 10uF
C5: 10uF (ceramic!)
C3,C4,C6: 0.1uF (ceramic)
C7: 100uF
C8,C9: N/A (optional)
R1: 10 Ohm
R2: 10 kOhm
R3,R4: 470 Ohm
R5-R18: 220 Ohm
S1: tact.button
X1,X2,X3: 8-pin right angle headers
X4: power terminal
X5: 6-pin right angle header for ICSP
JP1: jumpers (see below)
and hardware to screw IC2 to the board
Jumpers:
1-2: connect output of IC2 (+3.3V) to onboard power
3-4: connect X1.7 to input of IC2 (external power 5V or more)
5-6 and 7-8: connect X1.3 and X1.4 to PIC32 w/o Q1
9-10: connect C6 to reset circuit (open when ICSP)
Bread-board friendly connector consists of THREE 8-pin headers:
First 8 pins - port A (X1):
X1.1 (A0) - RA0, CTED1, RPA0, C3INC, AN0, CVREF+, VREF+
X1.2 (A1) - RA1, CTED2, RPA1, AN1, CVREF-, VREF-
X1.3 (A2) - RA2, RPA2, CLKI, OSC1 (NC if ext.crystal)
X1.4 (A3) - RA3, PMA0, RPA3, CLKO, OSC2 (NC if ext.crystal)
X1.5 (A4) - RA4, PMA1, CTED9, T1CK, RPA4, SOSCO
X1.6 (3.3V)

X3.8 (C7) - RB15, PMCS1, CTED6, SCK2, RPB15, C3INA, AN9
As you can see 3rd header still called port C (as on other nedoCPU boards), but actually it's higher byte of port B of PIC32 (bits B8...B15).
By default you will get bare PCB without any components, but you can choose an option to get a KIT (PCB with set of components to build it yourself) or even pre-built and fully tested version of the board (most expensive option). Also you can choose which MCU you want (without choosing MCU you will not get any):
PIC32MX110F016B - low-end MCU in this family with 16KB flash and 4KB data or
PIC32MX170F256B - high-end MCU in this family with 256KB flash and 64KB data
ATTENTION: Customers outside of US can get PCB only or KIT without microcontroller! Sorry, but this chip is under export regulations...
