MMOS Direct Drive Wheel controller with DAC, plug and play with AASD servomotors. It comes fully assembled and programmed already with the latest MMOS firmware. The new version v2.0 includes jumpers you can cut to redirect the torque signal from the DAC directly to a pin of the STM32 if you want to try the HoanTV firmware instead of MMOS (external ST-link programmer required for this). Also added a Z axis analog input in case you want to use a analog handbrake as well, apart the standard G27 Shifter and Pedals (DB9 connectors).
Uses a ready off the shelve straight (1:1) DB25 cable to hook up the AASD servo drive. Example of recommended compatible servo: 130ST-M15015 220V 2.3KW AC Servo motor 2300W 1500RPM 15N.M. Single-Phase ac drive permanent magnet Matched Driver AASD-30A
It was made to reduce the wiring required to make TDD using the STM32 Discovery board. The inspiration to make this came from this post on xsimulator forum.
I added a 12-bit DAC to convert the PWM signals from the MMOS firmware to pure 0v-3.3v voltage for the torque command, plus I added DB9 connectors to use G27 shifter and pedals (optional).
The user has to enter the following parameters in the servo drive:
Sure, download the STL files on Thingiverse
