I Give You: ARC Badge!

Arc Badge is a combination of my two favorite hobbies: Prop Making & Badgelife. It is inspired by the latest Arc Reactor design from the Iron Man Mk85 Nano Suit.

Arc Badge is a simple badge but with a lot of thought put into it and has one goal: To Look Cool. It's powered by 2x AA Batteries, has a On/Off Toggle Switch, has a Mode Button so that you can choose between 1 of 30 available display modes, and finally features 2x SAOv169bis Female connectors for all of your SAOs. When you turn it off and eventually back on it will return to the mode you last used so you don't have to run through all of the modes to select the one you want to display every time you turn on the badge.

The default mode is of course the classic Blue that you'd expect out of an Arc Reactor prop but you can choose between 29 other modes all matching the theme and spirit of the source material that inspired Arc Badge.

Arc Badge also comes with an exclusive "Iron Gauntlet" SAO. I designed this before Avengers Endgame came out so all I have to say about that is: I CALLED IT!

Being that it is powered by two AA batteries replacing batteries is very easy and without any SAOs the badge should last an entire weekend at DEF CON. Your Milage May Vary based on the SAOs you put on the badge though so I'd recommend bringing extras with you.

Second Run Information

This second run of Arc Badge is slightly different from the original. There are some boards from the original run that were extras and they are in the mix and feature the original Black Silkscreen but the majority have a white silk screen. The overall color has remained the same (red). There are also some badges that feature all Stainless Steel screws instead of Brass screws, other than looking different they are functionally the same. The second run also features an updated spacer that protects the programming header from the lanyard so that it cannot short the badge.

This is the final run of Arc Badge, once it sells out I will not make anymore.
