Clock Badge!

Clock Badge is the latest badge by TwinkleTwinkie & Wire! Clock Badge sports a friendly gray fuzzy character with googly eyes and real fuzz with all of your favorite VCR clock features! You will find that you will have a hard time not wanting to touch your clock badge. Powered off the clock is barely noticeable thanks to it being concealed below the solder mask and when powered on a digital clock glows brightly with a variety of color options!

Designed to be Displayed

Clock badge was designed to be a badge you can wear at your favorite con or social event but it was also designed to be displayed out of the box! Instead of an on/off switch Clock Badge features a Battery/USB toggle switch. Just plug in the USB C cable, set the time and enjoy!

Moar Power!

Clock Badge sports 30 Addressable RGBs which allows us to be very bright but unfortunately they drain batteries like they're going out of style. To get the most out of the battery life Clock Badge is dimmer when running on batteries. When powered by USB C however it is much brighter so you can enjoy that glaring blinking "12:00" from across the room.

A Feature, not a bug!

Clock Badge was designed with all of your favorite VCR clock features in mind! When Clock Badge loses power it resets the time and blinks "12:00" at you until you set the time. Don't worry though, your favorite colon animation & clock color/animation are saved. As power is lost when you swap between USB & Battery mode that means the clock resets then as well.

Battery Life & USB Power

Clock Badge's battery life is about 18 hours, and is meant to be on batteries only when worn as a badge and to extend that run time the display turns off after 10 minutes of no button presses then comes on 10 minutes before every hour for 10 minutes. Towards the end of the battery life you may see incorrect digits, this is a indication that the batteries need to be replaced. When Clock Badge is not being worn as a badge please power it by USB to enjoy the brighter display.

Do not leave USB plugged in while in battery mode! The badge will switch to full brightness while an active USB cable is connected but the power in Battery mode comes only from the batteries, this will cause your batteries to drain at an accelerated rate and will over burden the voltage regulator possibly damaging it!!!
