Read More…These are multimeter probes, but a lot smaller than your regular probes, purposely made for PCB work. I got tired of using thick 4mm banana cables and the large probes that have great use in electrical installations but have little use on an electronics workbench, especially if you like working on small stuff on your PCB. So for years I have been making these probes for colleagues and friends, and now you can have them too.
The tips are extremely sharp, spring loaded and gold finished. They are easily replaceable and interchangeable for different Tip shapes, I can recommend the Serrated version which is great to probe pin headers or round objects without your probe slipping off. I sell the serrated version as an accessory. There is no safety rating on these probes, I advise only to use them on low voltage stuff.
I also Sell 4mm to 2mm banana converter so you can enter the 2mm system. I have short and long versions, the short ones work excellent and are nice and compact, they may be difficult to remove by hand from some DDM which are designed for shrouded banana plugs. I also have very nice flexible 1m silicone cables which work well with the small probes. Everything I sell comes as a pair, so 2 probes, 2 spare tips, 2 converters (red and black) and 2 cables(red and black). The probes come with point tips as standard in a nice storage tube.
