What is it?

The Tymkrs 1U Bulkhead is a pre-assembled 1U (Intellijel)/21HP Eurorack module that improves cable management allowing you to route signals from the front of your synthesizer to the inside of your case, and back again! This works with both TS and TRS jacks.

The face plate is also reversible! One side is done in black silkscreen and the other side is done in metal. Simply unscrew the nuts, flip the faceplate, and re-screw on the nuts!

Why did you make it?

We created a 3U/2HP version (Tymkrs 2HP Eurorack Bulkhead Module) and folks requested a 1U version!

I wanted my synthesizer to look nice and neat, but the midi source and audio output were on the front of the eurorack case and needed to go to behind the synthesizer to the rest of my studio. I got tired of running cables from the front of the synthesizer to the back - around the side. So here we are - cable management!

If you have two or more modules, this could also create a wormhole within your synthesizer and help clean up your live case. By patching the back of one bulkhead to another bulkhead, you could create a hidden patch between two parts of your case.
