Need to make your project battery powered? This breakout board will charge your 3.7V Lithium Ion Batteries with ease via a micro USB connector. This makes charging your project just as easy as charging your smartphone. Simply connect your battery to the two pin header, connect a standard 5V micro USB power supply, and your battery will be charged within a few hours. The circuit charges your batteries at a rate of 500 milliamps per hour, so it is recommended that your battery has a capacity greater than 500mah, otherwise you risk damaging your battery.

Choosing a Battery

This charger circuit supports single cell 3.7V Lithium Ion Batteries, preferably with a capacity greater then 500Mah

Basic Operation

1. Connect the negative wire on your battery (the black wire) to the - pin on the board.
2. Connect the positive wire on your battery (the red wire) to the + pin on the board.
3. Connect a micro USB power supply to your board. The green LED light should turn on.
4. Once the green LED goes out, your battery is charged.
