As I've been doing projects with the Arduino over the years, I often want a simple gauge to display some sensor value. Analog gauges are fine for this but it's a pain to customize the scale. This product fixes that problem and is easier to use.
With ServoGauge Proto, you can make gauges with custom scales, showing exactly what you need in your project. It uses a servo, so interfacing is as easy as using the Arduino AnalogWrite function or you can use the better servo lib.
Make your own scale in any vector drawing program such as the free InkScape. You are not limited to showing an analog value either, the gauge can have icons which the needle will point at to indicate status, or mix them both.
