Our new online store is udevices.io

At the end of 2023, we found out that Tindie blocked sales from Ukraine, so we moved our shop to Etsy. However, it was blocked there almost immediately and we paused sales after that.

After a break, we opened a new online store. It's a standalone shop based on Shopify, so we no longer depend on a marketplace.

It works both with our uMyo EMG sensor and uECG - a wearable ECG sensor.

What is it?

It's a USB radio receiver base for all our radio-enabled projects. It's used to get data from devices, and to upload new firmware to them.

It also can be used as a transceiver unit for most 2.4GHz projects - like an old good nRF24 - although that would require base firmware programming (all code is open source and available at our github, but it's not well commented so if you are going to develop this part - we advise you to discuss it with us. No, really - it has a lot powerful stuff under the hood, and can be actually used very easily, but looks like a complete mess and figuring it out yourself may be tricky).

Why did you make it?

We needed some way to transfer data to/from PC. So that's what we did - radio chip + USB-UART interface + some LEDs :)

What makes it special?

It's a basic unit for any 2.4 GHz radio projects, such devices should have been available in hundreds of variants - but, well, it wasn't the case :) So we made one - as always, open hardware, open source. At some point we'll even make it Arduino-compatible - but not now.
