What is it?

The Mobile Network Analysis System is a powerful computing platform designed for network security analysis in industrial environments. It features a Ryzen R1505G processor, 16GB of RAM, 2x 1Gbps ethernet interfaces, and a 4TB NVMe SSD, packed inside a compact, rugged travel case.

Why did you make it?

The MNAS was created to suit the needs of mobile teams doing security audits industrial facilities. The form factor of the device allows it to be easily transported, set up, and moved from site-to-site. Customization is available to support serial ports, wireless connectivity, or DC power input.

What makes it special?

The specs of the MNAS have been optimized for edge anaynlysis and storage of packet captures, and is optimized for tools such as Malcolm (https://github.com/cisagov/Malcolm). It features a fast, multi-core processor, ample storage, and multiple ethernet ports for connecting network taps.
